In 2024, Kings Walden was completely renovated and decorated by the very talented Xyza Savanna into a high-end modern boutique hotel that embraces the history and environment. Beautiful mountain views and a romantic garden provide a charming backdrop for six luxury rooms – rooms that are made for romance and relaxation. Stretch out on extra-length king-size beds; relax in front of the fire with fine wine, good music and great company. Each room here leads out onto the gardens, where there is a large swimming pool and lawns, and paths leading to shaded secret spots where you can escape with a book. As the sun slips down the sky, enjoy a glass of wine on the porch overlooking the mountains, or linger over a drink in our stylish lounge.

We had a wonderfully nice stay! From the moment of arrival, we were super kindly helped. Our suitcases were taken out of the car immediately and brought to the apartment. We also immediately received nice tips and extra explanations about the area. With the beautiful view, we thoroughly enjoyed a nice glass of wine with some snacks. We were also allowed to choose a table for dinner in advance. A large group was coming to eat that evening, so the staff advised us to eat a little earlier because otherwise it might take longer. It's very nice that they informed us about this beforehand! The food was really delicious. The room was also beautiful, with a mega large and lovely bathroom. We slept wonderfully then too. The next morning we had a delicious breakfast with yogurt, honey, fresh fruit, coffee of your choice, fresh orange juice and a dish from the menu. Everything was prepared fresh and with great care. Overall, we were helped extremely well, kindly, and hospitably. What nice people! The owner must be really happy with such a great and friendly team. We really enjoyed our stay and would definitely like to come back!

 Verified Enjoy and relax in green hills of South Africa.
Lovely quiet place to stay. An amazing garden, old times reveals, in the middle of hills with avocados, orange and macadamia trees. You don’t have to leave the property, there is a good restaurant too.
