Hotelier Bridget Hilton-Barber had a long and colourful career as a travel writer and author before returning to her ancestral home at the beginning of 2019 to become Kings Walden’s mein host and brand ambassador.
Lara Luis, assistant manager and food & beverage manager, brings to Kings Walden a fabulous combination of organisational efficiency and food flair. She’s been in the hospitality and restaurant business for years.
Head chef Elizabeth Modjadji Phokungwana and assistant chef Creasy Gabaza Sono are the wonderful women responsible for the delicious food served by Kings Walden. Both were trained by Steven Jacobs, a Belgian Michelin-star chef.
